Many residents, visitors, and seasonal workers in Ocean City rely on bicycles and scooters to get around — often in early morning or evening hours when visibility is low. The Lights on Bikes & Scooters Campaign provides bicycle and scooter lights to improve visibility and reduce accidents after dusk.
 
This safety initiative is coordinated by the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) and supported by community partners, including the Town of Ocean City and generous local sponsors. Bike lights distributed through this program help protect everyone on our streets — especially seasonal workers and students who bike to work in  low-light conditions.
