Ocean City, MD – The Ocean City Development Corporation (OCDC) is seeking community feedback as it considers refreshing one of downtown Ocean City’s most recognizable public art pieces—the Cruisin’ mural, located on the south side of the Baltimore Avenue and Talbot Street building.
Installed in 2011, the mural has been a colorful part of downtown for more than a decade. As part of OCDC’s ongoing effort to revitalize and beautify the area, plans are underway to update the artwork and continue enhancing the public art presence in Ocean City.
Community members are invited to share their opinions by completing an online survey, open through Saturday, October 12, 2025. Survey responses will be reviewed by the Downtown Association/Public Art Committee, with the OCDC Board of Directors making the final decision regarding the project’s next steps.
This initiative is part of OCDC’s broader commitment to community-driven revitalization projects, including public art installations, façade improvements, and downtown beautification.
